The objectives of the founding organization include: to support research relating to the history and developments of the Constitution of Canada, constitutional conventions and institutional processes of Canadian governments; to study the constitutions and institutional processes of other countries; and, to disseminate the results of such research.
Constitution.ca will provide a forum for the presentation of articles and informed discussion on two major themes:
– the role and method of selection of Canada’s Head of State; and,
– the role of elected officials in representing constituents and the measures that hold them to account to the people whom they represent.
All articles and discussions reflect the views of those who contributed them. These views and opinions should not be attributed to constitution.ca.
